L’Avenir’s elegant tasting room was inspired by the flair and sophistication of French bistro culture. Depending on the season guests can enjoy a glass of Pinotage in front of the cosy Cellardoor fireplace, or a refreshing glass of Chenin Blanc in the tranquil countryside setting of the gardens next to the farm’s lake.
A selection of wine tasting and food pairing options are available. Guests can choose between four tastings: the Versatility of Pinotage Tasting, the classic Provenance Tasting, the exclusive Single Block Experience, the All Year Summer Tasting and the Cheese & Wine Tasting.

Country Lodge
Nestled in the valley below the Simonsberg Mountains, L’Avenir Country Lodge is an intimate, 4-star lodge located on a working wine estate, just minutes from the historical town of Stellenbosch. Features include a rim-flow pool overlooking the lakes, home-cooked breakfast on the deck, complimentary wine tasting, mountain biking and trail running trails through the vineyards and a cosy fireplace ideal for sipping Pinotage on winter afternoons . For any bespoke requests, we will be happy to assist. The Country Lodge at L’Avenir lets you step out of the hustle and bustle, with elegant accommodation amongst the rolling vineyards.

L’Avenir offers world class conferencing facilities in a beautiful and tranquil Cape winelands countryside setting. The design of the stylish Single Block venue was inspired by the modern elegance of L’Avenir’s Single Block Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. This chic space can accommodate up to 100 delegates for conferences and celebrations.
Inspired by L’Avenir’s flagship wine varietal, the exclusive Pinotage Lounge is the ideal setting for smaller, intimate jamborees and can comfortably host up to 12 people. This magical venue overlooks L’Avenir’s maturation cellar and boasts impressive and grandiose finishes.

Garden
The Hands-on Garden was developed to honour the skillful workers that have for generations made an invaluable contribution to the Estate and its wine. This multi-faceted space was created by L’Avenir’s employees and forms a striking and symbolic passage from our Pebbles Afterschool Care Centre to the cellar and Single Block venue. The Hands-on Garden embodies L’Avenir’s values of humility, commitment and performance. With a definite focus on developing the next generation, the Garden is true to L’Avenir’s name – which means “the future” in French.
Vineyard management forms part of L’Avenir’s in-house curriculum at the Pebbles Afterschool Care Centre, whereby learners gain a better understanding and appreciation of vineyard management.

Fly to
The L’Avenir Helipad
A helipad was established for special guests next to the Hands-on Garden. Through an exclusive partnership with Cape Town Helicopters, visitors can fly to L’Avenir Wine Estate for private tastings from the Cape Town V&A Waterfront.
